New Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

As of late Autumn 2012, all new cars must be fitted with tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS). The TPMS will be subject to testing during MOT's therefore must be tested and serviced to ensure they meet MOT standards. Tam Tyres now offer the service of testing and servicing the TPMS on all cars.

Balancing

There are only 11 smartweight balancers in the UK. We have the only one in the North of England. This is the most advanced, balancing system available using up to 45% less weights on the wheel by giving ultra precise laser positioning which means better balancing + less weights, this can give upto 40% longer tyre life.

Nitrogen

We fill all tyres with nitrogen so there is no moisture in the tyre which means there is no oxidisation so the wheel will not corrode on the inside = less beadseal failure. The tyre also runs cooler. All of the above can give up to 50% longer tyre life.

Puncture Guarantee

We can offer a lifetime puncture guarantee on all new tyres from as little as £5 per tyre.

Locking Wheel Nuts
